For up to 2 years from the original purchase date, the AppleCare Protection Plan gives you direct one-stop access to Apple's award-winning telephone technical support for questions about using your device. And you get global repair coverage for both parts and labor on your device, including its battery and included accessories.
AppleCare+ is typically purchased at the same time as your device however it can be added within 60 days of an eligible purchase. To buy AppleCare+ at UM Tech Shop or an Apple Retail Store (within 60 days of your purchase date) a Specialist will first need to verify your purchase date and confirm that your device has no pre-existing damage.

- Customers must be using the Apple Pencil with a compatible iPad in order for the Apple Pencil to be eligible for AppleCare+ coverage.
- Service fees are $29 for Apple Pencil or Apple-branded iPad keyboard, plus applicable tax.
