4TB Sonnet Fusion RAID5 (EOL)
The 4TB Fusion D400QR5 Desktop Storage System Hard Drive Array from Sonnet is an external RAID storage system for Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. The array features 4 hot-swappable drives which can be configured as a RAID 5 or RAID 0 array. When configured as RAID 5, the array can read data at up to 225MB/sec and write data at up to 177MB/sec.
The array connects via eSATA, USB 2.0, FireWire-800, or FireWire-400. It is housed in a desktop form factor for easy installation. A Vantec Stealth fan -- 80% quieter than a standard case fan -- provides low-noise cooling. The Fusion D400QR5 is certified for use with industry-standard NLE software, including Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. It has been approved for use with video capture cards by AJA, Blackmagic Design, Matrox, and Bluefish444.
