Featuring a tough, rugged design, this portable solid-state drive is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance in addition to withstanding up to 9.8' drops and 4000 pounds of crushing force. At the same time, the aluminum core helps to quickly dissipate heat to maintain read speeds of up to 3000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 2500 MB/s when connected to a Thunderbolt 3 compatible system — meaning that you can transfer 50GB of data in about a minute. The PRO-G40 SSD also works with USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 devices at up to 1050 MB/s and 1000 MB/s read and write speeds, respectively, making it an ideal scratch drive for high-resolution editing and rendering.

This external SSD is pre-formatted APFS for macOS 10.13 or later systems and may be reformatted for Windows 10 or later. It is backed by a 5-year warranty. It is not compatible with the iPhone 15/15 Pro.
