Performance & Engine Integration
When slid into an Avid NEXIS engine, the pack provides the following capabilities:
- Engine Bandwidth: Delivers up to 600 MB/s of total bandwidth in an E2 engine, or scales up to 1.2 GB/s in a dual-pack E4 setup.
- Network Interface: Integrates with the engine's physical infrastructure, routing through 10GbE SFP+ or 40GbE QSFP system connections.
- File System: Managed dynamically by Avid NEXIS | FS, a 64-bit self-balancing, distributed file system featuring automated data redistribution and dynamic disk protection.
