OWC Mercury Elite Pro Mini
The Mercury Elite Pro Mini External Enclosure from Other World Computing is a portable drive housing that is compatible with 2.5" hard drives and solid-state drives up to 15mm in height. Designed for faster file transfers and secure storage, the Elite Pro Mini is built from aluminum, which helps to dissipate heat without using a fan, and also provides impact resistance. This enclosure is suitable for those working within digital photography, professional music, graphics, general data, and Time Machine backups. Compatible with Windows and Mac, it connects to your host system using either a 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port that is compatible with Thunderbolt 3, or a 6 Gb/s eSATA port. When connected using eSATA, power is provided using an included DC to USB Type-A cable, while USB Type-C connectivity receives power solely through the USB bus. Also included is a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C to Type-C cable, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C to Type-A cable, and an eSATA cable.
