When you make the switch from Adobe Creative Suite to Creative Cloud you have several membership options. The one you select will depend on how many apps you need access to, and how many people need to access them.
Free Membership to Creative Cloud
This membership level is the most limited, but it does come with the benefits of 2G of cloud storage, file sharing, file syncing, and some free Adobe services. With this membership level you also gain access to free 30-day trials of all the apps in Creative Cloud.
Single-App Memberships
If you need access to only one app in the Creative Cloud, you can purchase a single-app license. You get the full version of the app as well as 20G of storage. Although this membership level is cost-effective if you truly need only one app, if you think you will need to access more than one, a complete individual membership makes much more sense.
Creative Cloud for Individuals
If you are a sole proprietor or have only one creative professional on your team, the individual Creative Cloud membership has everything you need, including:
- Access to all apps in Creative Suite
- Access to new services that allow you to create your own apps for mobile devices
- File sharing tools and 20G of cloud storage
Creative Cloud for Teams
For companies or teams that require multiple user licenses, Creative Cloud for Teams offers an integrated solution that makes license management much easier. Instead of creating separate login credentials for each license, you can manage all of your seats under one Adobe ID. A membership to Creative Cloud for Teams also comes with the following benefits:
- 100G of storage for each person on your team
- The ability to manage all of your licenses from one central location online
- Two one-on-one sessions with an Adobe expert every year you are a member
Creative Cloud for Enterprise
For companies with more than one hundred users, Adobe offers Creative Cloud for Enterprise. In addition to full access to all Creative Cloud apps, enterprises benefit from:
- Centralized control of all user permissions
- Expert services and dedicated customer support
- Easy integration with the other Adobe solutions that you already use
Creative Cloud for Students and Teachers
If you are affiliated with an educational institution, either as a student or teacher, you can get discounts on an individual membership to Creative Cloud.
Creative Cloud for Government
The CLP-G licensing program is a procurement system for government agencies. Through this program, governments can purchase licenses to all of the Creative Cloud apps. After they are purchased, these licenses do not require server-based validation and can be deployed on local desktops.
The best way to see how Creative Cloud works is to take it for a test drive. You will quickly see how easy it is to create new files, share them will clients and colleagues, and use all the same creative apps that you already know.
